The Dawn to Dusk Enduro (D2D) is the off-road equivalent of the motorsport 24 Hours of Le Mans, although decidedly a lot cheaper and more fun for those watching and taking part.

The terrain is as good as it gets for any off-road enthusiast. Routes take in woodland, water features, hill climbs, descents, narrow tracks and open gravel roads. The Welsh weather is also bound to play an important part in any race here, of course, so riders have to be prepared for varying conditions.

The D2D format has expanded over the years. It now features 6, 12 and a full 24-hour marathon. (ed. 2024 has youth class races and will feature a 10-hour overnight race for solo competitors!)

The event is open to all bike classes, and you can participate solo, in pairs or as part of a team. There are even junior events for young riders.

The D2D is getting very popular, as you might imagine, with the number of riders now reaching 450–500 (ed. 700 in 2023!) and participants coming from various parts of the UK and continental Europe. Past riders have included various national and international champions, including Alfie Cox and Cyril Despres, as well as television personalities Charley Boorman and Ross Noble.

Dawn to Dusk Enduro returns to be the biggest and best endurance race in the UK. Taking place in the beautiful Brecon Beacons at Glynneath over the 24th and 25th August Bank Holiday 2024.
With numbers rising everyday be part of over 700 riders, 1000 spectators and a wealth of exhibitors, who’ll enjoy the very best of what South Wales has to offer.

You don’t have to be highly skilled or have the stamina of an ox, as our races allow every rider to achieve their own personal best in both time, endurance and competition. But if you are competitive then we always have world class riders against which you can compete. Be it part of a team or you on your lonesome, we ensure every rider has the opportunity to experience our first class facilities that will leave you with a feeling of accomplishment that no other course in the UK can offer.

From undulating terrains, dense woodlands, narrow tracks, open gravel rides to water features, we have it all and some surprises too.

Come and be part of the fantastic riding experience. With several races running over the two days and the only 24 hour race in the UK.
