Cross-training ADV - level 2!
Advanced enduro skills for adventure bikes
XTADV level 2 is an advanced course that will arm you with the skills required to confidently attack logs, ruts and other obstacles that are commonly found on the trail. We use lightweight 250cc machines to make the skills needed for large displacement ADV and dual-sport bikes MUCH easier and more forgiving to learn.
This adventure has thick Canadian forest, pristine lakes, staggering vistas and incredible camaraderie. Ride ribbony trails through majestic Douglas Fir forests while encountering jaw dropping vistas all connected by an unrivalled network of transit roads.
XTADV is a perfect combination of training, riding and exploration, incredible scenery, great food and good friends. The skills you take home from this course will guide you through the rest of your two-wheeled life!
“suddenly my wrists seem stronger and I’m able to control my bike better. Turns out my wrists were fine before, it was all about my body position.
Did I know about body position before the class? Yup.
Did I use it properly? apparently not.”
XTADV Level 2 Minimum Requirements
This intense, five-day advanced course is designed specifically for Dual Sport and ADV riders who are already confidently riding their motorcycles in the dirt. To attend, you must have completed the standard XTADV course, OR be able to:
Be familiar with the concepts of body position and suspension loading
Display reasonable static balance skills
Be comfortable at speed on gravel and dirt
Our goal is always to match our participants to the course that will give them the most benefit to their current abilities.
If you are not able to meet the above requirements, you’ll have a great time learning them at the first level of XTADV!
“I really liked the interview process. It not only helped the eRag get to know me, but it also gave me the confidence to know I was a good fit for this experience.”
“A lot of adventure bikes might push beyond their local Starbucks if their owners had built these skills the safe and proper way.”
